THEOLOGY ON TAP: Grief — what's love got to do with it?

All young adults (19-39) are invited to join us for an evening of thought-provoking conversation on theological topics!
Special guest: Florence Loh, Manager of Programs and Services, Catholic Family Services of Paris.
Florence Loh first caught the public speaking bug in 2004 when she volunteered to speak to parishes for the Archdiocese’s ShareLife campaign. Using her experience as a clinical social worker who has worked with numerous individuals, couples, and families over the years, she would often try to make her talks relatable for her audience through examples grounded in everyday experiences. Florence is presently the Manager of Programs and Services for the central office at Catholic Family Services of Paris. She is responsible for overseeing the counseling services and family life programs serving the general public. Her academic interests include psychoanalysis, trauma and recovery, and play therapy. In her down time, Florence likes to think about questions with few answers. On the topic of grief, she often wonders what God and Freud would agree on if they have a conversation about it.
